SkyLimit Photography | FAQ

Below is a number of frequently asked questions with answers, if your problem/ question is not on here, please email us at: or visit the contact page.

1. When will my photos be online?

Photos will be online 2 days after the event at the very latest. On a show day, we can take anywhere between 700 and 2,000 images. These images are then taken into Lightroom for processing, each image is individually adjusted to perfect the cropping, exposure, add our individual look, and correct anything else that might not be up to our high standards. The reason some other photographers may be able to have photos online quicker is because they do not process the images, we like to do this to provide a higher quality product for you.
Our images are then uploaded to the website, however, being a rural company, internet speeds can be slow, so your patience is appreciated as we physically can not speed up the process. We also always announce when all photos from each event are online via our Facebook page, so do keep an eye on that!

2. How do I know if SkyLimit Photography was at my show?

Please check our diary section on the website, here you can find all events that we are booked to photograph in past, present, and future. If you are still unsure, please do contact us, even if we didn't cover your event, we may have an idea who it might have been.

3. I'm having trouble ordering photos, the website won't let me pay/checkout!

This is a common problem that unfortunately we have not yet been able to fix, however it is very easy to fix. All you have to do is simply clear the cache on your internet browser. Head into your browser's settings, and the option to clear the cache will be somewhere with the delete history options.

4. How do I purchase my photos?

All orders can be done via the website, here is a video tutorial to guide you through the process.

5. Where can I find my digital product?

Digital files (Both high resolution and low resolution) come via email, with a download link. When you click this link, you are taken to a downloads page where your digital purchases can be found and downloaded. All digital files have a 30 day expiration, after 30 days the download link will be taken down. If you haven't received your download link via email, first check your junk email inbox. If it is not in there, please contact me and I will try to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

6. Can I use my Facebook file outside of Facebook?

Yes, these low res digital files can be used on all forms of social media and for non advertising and non publicised purposes. However they are unsuitable for printing, and usage of these images in publications (Such as books and magazines) or for advertising purposes online or otherwise is illegal. Please contact me if you would like to use any of my images in publications and advertising.

7. How do I make and purchase a collage?
